ISC 160 Problem-Solving Skills for Advanced Manufacturing Technicians Lecture: 0 Lab: 2 Clinic: 0 Credits: 1 This course introduces a systematic approach to addressing performance and behavioral qualities that are needed for efficient problem-solving outcomes. Emphasis is placed on applying a Lean 8-step Problem Solving process; developing a customer first philosophy involving all stakeholders; demonstrating key attributes of an effective team member, including professionalism, teamwork and communication skills. Upon completion, students should be able to effectively apply the Lean 8-step Problem Solving Process and exhibit effective attributes of a productive team member in an advanced manufacturing setting.
Course is typically offered in Fall. Student Learning Outcomes (SLOs) At completion of the course, the student should be able to do the following:
