Upon successful completion of the Alternative Transportation Technologies certificate, the graduate should be able to do the following:

• Utilize appropriate shop tools and explain government regulations associated with alternative transportation.
• Maintain, diagnose and service vehicles using straight or blended liquid biofuels.
• Perform diagnostics, maintenance and repair hybrid-electric drive vehicles.
• Demonstrate compliance with personal practices as applicable to the automotive industry.
• Demonstrate compliance with environmental safety practices as applicable to the automotive industry.
