Upon successful completion of the Hospital Billing & Coding certificate, the graduate will be prepared to sit for the Certified Professional Coders-Hospital Exam (CPC-H) administered through the American Association of Certified Professional Coders (AAPC).

Program Outcomes:

Upon successful completion of the Hospital Billing & Coding certificate, the graduate should be able to:

• Use medical terminology effectively
• Utilize various reference materials in a variety of situations
• Code in a hospital or other inpatient facility

This degree can be completed in a traditional or completely online format.
