NOS 230 Windows Administration I

This course covers the installation and configuration of a Windows Server operating system. Emphasis is placed on the basic configuration of core network services, Active Directory and group policies. Upon completion, students should be able to install and configure a Windows Server operating system.

Course is typically offered in Fall and Spring.
Course has transfer restrictions - 10 years

Student Learning Outcomes (SLOs)
At the completion of the course, the students should be able to do the following:

  1. Manage Active Directory Domain Services.
  2. Configure Windows Server file and storage services.
  3. Manage a virtual machine environment .
  4. Configure networking services on a Windows Server.
