AET 130 Aviation Engine Electrical

This course introduces students to the study of engine electrical systems and instruments used on turbine-powered and reciprocating engine-powered aircraft. Topics emphasize mechanical power generating and engine starting systems, including hands-on experience with removal, installation, disassembly, troubleshooting, and adjustment of starting, regulating, and monitoring devices. Upon completion, students should be able to evaluate a complete aircraft engine electrical system using provided schematics and determine corrective actions when necessary. Pre-requisite(s): AVI 110 and AET 122.
