HMT 220 Healthcare Financial Management

This course covers the methods and techniques utilized in the financial management of healthcare programs. Topics include cost determination, pricing of services, financial statement analysis, forecasting/projections, third-party billing, reimbursement, Medicare, Medicaid, and budgeting. Upon completion, students should be able to interpret and apply the principles of financial management in a healthcare environment. Pre-requisite(s): OST 138, ACC 120 and HMT 110.
