Collision Repair & Refinishing Technology Diploma

This diploma program prepares students for employment in the Collision Repair & Refinishing industry as collision repair specialists. Students are introduced to automobile body construction, techniques in auto-body repair and refinishing, and proper use of equipment and materials commonly used in the automotive collision repair industry.

Program Outcomes:

Upon successful completion of the Collision Repair & Refinishing diploma, the graduate should be able to:

  • Perform structural analysis and damage repairs
  • Perform non-structural analysis and damage repairs
  • Perform MIG welding as it applies to automotive structures
  • Refinish vehicles or vehicle components
  • Read repair estimates
  • Write repair estimates
  • Repair plastics and adhesives
  • Replace vehicle components
