Program Requirements - Computer Technology Integration
The Computer Technology Integration certificate prepares students for entry-level careers in Information Technology. Upon successful completion of this certification program, students will also be prepared for external certifications such as Microsoft MOS, CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, Certiport IC3, and Strata IT Fundamentals.
Program Outcomes:
Upon completion of the Computer Technology Integration certificate, the student should be able to:
- Analyze the technical needs of end-users
- Use appropriate application software to fulfill business needs
- Code a program to meet end-user needs
- Develop a relational database
- Assess basic network topologies
- Identify basic security threats
- Install & diagnose multiple operating systems
- Examine various hardware components and their purpose
