This certificate program is designed to introduce students into the Heavy Equipment & Technology industry. It prepares students to work as apprentices under the supervision of a qualified Heavy Equipment & Transport technician.

Program Outcomes:

Upon successful completion of the Heavy Equipment & Transport certificate, the graduate shall be able to:

• Repair medium to heavy-duty diesel electrical systems
• Repair medium to heavy-duty vehicle brake systems
• Repair medium to heavy-duty vehicle suspension and steering systems
• Perform preventative maintenance inspections
