The Fire Protection Technology Post Degree Certificate in Fire Service Administration is designed to provide the technical and professional knowledge neccesary to serve in fire service leadership positions. It also provides a sound foundation for continuous higher learning in fire protection.
Course work includes classroom exercises to introduce the student to various aspects of fire service administrations. Students will learn technical skills such as personnel administration, public relations, planning, and determining specifications and purchasing apparatus.
Graduates should qualify for employment or advancement in governmental agencies, industrial firms, insurance rating organizations, educational organizations and municipal fire departments. Employed persons should have opportunities for skilled and supervisory positions within their current organizations.
