Landscape Design Certificate

The Turfgrass Management Technology Landscape Design Certificate is designed to be a stackable certificate to allow students to be prepared to take the Certified Plantsman Exam. It can be completed in 2 semesters and all this certificate’s courses can be applied toward AAS degree.

Program Outcomes:

Upon successful completion of the Landscape Design certificate, the graduate should be able to:

• Practice successful employability skills in the workplace;
• Establish turfgrass areas;
• Evaluate weather conditions for proper selection and maintenance of outdoor plants;
• Create electronic landscape design solutions using ProLandscape computer software.
• Design and build hardscaping.
