EDU 214 Early Child Interm PractLecture: 1 Lab: 9 Clinic: 0 Credits: 4 This course is designed to allow students to apply skills in a three star (minimum) or NAEYC accredited or equivalent, quality early childhood environment. Emphasis is placed on observing children and assisting with the implementation of developmentally appropriate activities and environments for all children; modeling reflective and professional practices. Upon completion, students should be able to demonstrate developmentally appropriate plans/assessments, appropriate guidance techniques and ethical/professional behaviors as indicated by assignments and onsite faculty visits. Pre-requisite(s): Grade of C or better in EDU 119, EDU 144, and EDU 146 or PSY 244, EDU 119, and EDU 146. Co-requisite(s): DRE 098 .
