ASM 117 Aero Electrical Assemblies

This course covers a variety of complex electrical and electronic sub-assemblies commonly utilized in manufactured aerostructures. Emphasis will be placed on electrical and electronic theory, symbols, wiring diagrams, utilization of production drawings, soldering, wiring techniques, connector location and identification, electrical hand tools, and installation of assembled components. Upon completion, students should be able to follow production drawings to accurately assemble and position wiring, electrical, and electronic components in jigs, fixtures, and aerostructures utilizing appropriate tools and procedures.
