POL 210 Comparative GovernmentLecture: 3 Lab: 0 Clinic: 0 Credits: 3 This course provides a cross-national perspective on the government and politics of contemporary nations such as Great Britain, France, Germany, and Russia. Topics include each country’s historical uniqueness, key institutions, attitudes and ideologies, patterns of interaction, and current political problems. Upon completion, students should be able to identify and compare various nations’ governmental structures, processes, ideologies, and capacity to resolve major problems. This course has been approved for transfer under the CAA as a general education course in Social/Behavioral Sciences. Pre-requisite(s): DRE 097 or ENG 002
Course is offered in Fall and Spring.
