PED 157 PickleballLecture: 0 Lab: 2 Clinic: 0 Credits: 1 This course covers the fundamentals of pickleball. Emphasis is placed on the basics of serving, ground strokes (drives, drops, dinks, punches, and lobs), overhead strokes (smashes and slams), and the rules and strategies of singles and doubles play. Upon completion, students should be able to apply these skills in pickleball playing situations. This course has been approved for transfer under the CAA as a premajor and/or elective course requirement.
Course is offered in Fall and Spring.
