INT 110 International Business

This course provides an overview of the environment, concepts, and basic differences involved in international business. Topics include forms of foreign involvement, international trade theory, government influences on trade and strategies, international organizations, multinational corporations, personnel management, and international marketing. Upon completion, students should be able to describe the foundation of international business.

At the completion of the course, the students should be able to do the following:

  1. Assess the cultural factors that apply to businesses in a foreign country.
  2. Analyze the political and economic systems of a foreign country.
  3. Illustrate the position on international trade of a foreign country’s government.
  4. Determine the level of Foreign Direct Investment and status of infrastructure in a foreign country.
  5. Classify the level of regional integration of a foreign country.
  6. Analyze the currency situation of a foreign country.
  7. Analyze the business opportunities available in a foreign country.
