SRV 210 Surveying III

This course introduces boundary surveying, land partitioning, and calculations of areas. Topics include advanced traverses and adjustments, preparation of survey documents, and other related topics. Upon completion, students should be able to research, survey, and map a boundary.

Pre-requisite(s): SRV 110 .
Course is typically offered in Spring.
Course has transfer restrictions - 20 years

At completion of the course, the student should be able to do the following:

Perform coordinate geometry and area calculations for plane surveying.
Perform internet research for property deeds.
Analyze state plane coordinates and other map projections.
Write an accurate legal description for a boundary survey.
Perform geodetic reduction calculations.
Operate and use a data collector.
