MAC 132 Blueprint Reading-Machining II Lecture: 1 Lab: 2 Clinic: 0 Credits: 2 This course introduces more complex industrial blueprints. Emphasis is placed on auxiliary views, section views, violations of true project, special views, applications of GD & T, and interpretation of complex parts. Upon completion, students should be able to read and interpret complex industrial blueprints.
Pre-requisite(s): MAC 131 . Course is typically offered in Spring. Student Learning Outcomes (SLOs) At the completion of the course, the students should be able to do the following:
- Analyze a mechanical blueprint to determine features from auxiliary views.
- Interpret internal features from sectional views.
- Determine assembly processes from assembly drawing.
- Determine tolerances from geometric symbols.
