ATR 114 Machine Reliability

This course introduces concepts of ensuring machine reliability in a manufacturing environment. Emphasis is placed on describing preventive, predictive, corrective maintenance and their significant differences; analyzing proactive maintenance and the underlying tools, integral operations, and procedures; and identifying various individual system units and the steps in evaluating failure mode risks and countermeasures. Upon completion, students should be able to demonstrate lean machine reliability concepts in a lab/manufacturing environment.
