BPR 111 Print Reading Lecture: 1 Lab: 2 Clinic: 0 Credits: 2 This course introduces the basic principles of print reading. Topics include line types, orthographic projections, dimensioning methods, and notes. Upon completion, students should be able to interpret basic prints and visualize the features of a part or system.
Course is typically offered in Fall Student Learning Outcomes (SLOs) At completion of the course, the student should be able to do the following:
- Determine line types from a working drawing.
- Determine drawing types from a working drawing.
- Determine part features from a working drawing.
- Determine part characteristics from notes on a working drawing.
