BPR 130 Print Reading-Construction Lecture: 3 Lab: 0 Clinic: 0 Credits: 3 This course covers the interpretation of prints and specifications that are associated with design and construction projects. Topics include interpretation of documents for foundations, floor plans, elevations, and related topics. Upon completion, students should be able to read and interpret construction prints and documents.
Course is typically offered in Fall. Student Learning Outcomes (SLOs) At the completion of the course, the students should be able to do the following:
- Explain the use of abbreviations on prints.
- Measure lines with a scale ruler to the specified scale.
- Identify commonly used symbols.
- Differentiate like abbreviations on prints.
- Interpret the alphabet of lines.
