NOS 230 Windows Administration I Lecture: 2 Lab: 2 Clinic: 0 Credits: 3 This course covers the installation and configuration of a Windows Server operating system. Emphasis is placed on the basic configuration of core network services, Active Directory and group policies. Upon completion, students should be able to install and configure a Windows Server operating system.
Course is typically offered in Fall and Spring. Course has transfer restrictions - 10 years
Student Learning Outcomes (SLOs) At the completion of the course, the students should be able to do the following:
- Manage Active Directory Domain Services.
- Configure Windows Server file and storage services.
- Manage a virtual machine environment .
- Configure networking services on a Windows Server.
