PED 112 Physical Fitness II Lecture: 0 Lab: 3 Clinic: 0 Credits: 1 This course is an intermediate-level fitness class. Topics include specific exercises contributing to fitness and the role exercise plays in developing body systems. Upon completion, students should be able to implement and evaluate an individualized physical fitness program.
This course has been approved for transfer under the CAA as a premajor and/or elective course requirement.
Pre-requisite(s): PED 111 . Course is typically offered in Spring (when offered). Student Learning Outcomes (SLOs) At the completion of the course, the students should be able to do the following:
- Participate in 80% of all intermediate fitness classes using 5 major components of fitness.
- Document and evaluate individualized fitness program on the workout card.
