RAD 171 RAD Clinical Ed III

This course provides experience in patient management specific to advanced radiographic procedures. Emphasis is placed on applying appropriate technical factors to all studies and transitioning to mastering positioning of advanced studies. Upon completion, students should be able to demonstrate successful completion of clinical objectives.

Pre-requisite(s): RAD 112, RAD 121, and RAD 161.
Course is typically offered in Summer.
Student Learning Outcomes (SLOs)
At the completion of the course, the students should be able to do the following:

Use skills appropriate for a third semester student under direct supervision to assist and/or perform all diagnostic radiography procedures.
Generate complete and accurate documentation of clinical experiences using Trajecsys and other required systems or documents.
Defend appropriate critical thinking skills in clinical radiography situations.
Perform all diagnostic radiography procedures competently.
