This course is designed to enhance expertise in all radiographic procedures, patient management, radiation protection, and image production and evaluation. Emphasis is placed on developing an autonomous approach to the diversity of clinical situations and successfully adapting to those procedures. Upon completion, students should be able to demonstrate successful completion of clinical objectives.

Pre-requisite(s): RAD 251.
Co-requisite(s): RAD 271.
Course is typically offered in Spring.
Student Learning Outcomes (SLOs)
At the completion of the course, the students should be able to do the following:

Use graduate-level skills appropriate for a fifth semester student under direct supervision to assist and/or perform all diagnostic radiography procedures.
Generate complete and accurate documentation of clinical experiences using Trajecsys and other required systems or documents.
Defend appropriate critical thinking skills specifically for image evaluation of anatomy, positioning, technical factors, and improvements.
Perform all diagnostic radiography procedures competently, including exposure factors and image evaluation.
