DME 130 Digital Animation I Lecture: 2 Lab: 2 Clinic: 0 Credits: 3 This course introduces concepts for planning and developing animation sequences. Emphasis will be placed on review of digital animation concepts and exploration of various animation software packages. Upon completion, students should be able to produce simple animations.
Pre-requisite(s): DME 110 Course is typically offered in (check with department). Student Learning Outcomes (SLOs) At the completion of the course, the students should be able to do the following:
- Write a script for a short animated story.
- Develop a storyboard.
- Produce a short animated story.
- Analyze technical aspects of the animation.
- Create an animated story scene by photographing a stop motion, frame by frame animation with drawn paper images.
- Produce a short animated PSA for a CPA department or program at GTCC.
