DME 140 Introduction to Audio/Video Media Lecture: 2 Lab: 3 Clinic: 0 Credits: 3 This course is designed to teach students how to manipulate digital and audio content for multimedia applications. Topics include format conversion and a review of current technologies and digital formats. Upon completion, students should be able to modify existing audio and video content to meet a range of production requirements associated with digital media applications.

- Demonstrate the use of basic tools and equipment used in audio, video and film production.
- Describe the history, terminology, occupations, and value of audio, video and film technology.
- Demonstrate technical support skills for audio, video and film productions.
- Design an audio, video and/or film production.
