OMT 222 Project Management Lecture: 3 Lab: 0 Clinic: 0 Credits: 3 This course covers fundamental concepts associated with multi-task management and coordination. Topics include flow diagrams, process and operations charts, network scheduling, Gantt charts, and PERT and Critical Path Methods as tools in project management. Upon completion, students should be able to understand and apply project management tools and methods.
Course is typically offered in Summer. Student Learning Outcomes (SLOs) At the completion of the course, the students should be able to do the following:
- Define project scope and priorities.
- Estimate project times and cost.
- Develop a project schedule.
- Manage risk through risk identification, risk assessment, and risk response.
- Schedule resources and costs for a project.
