BUS 245 Entrepreneurship II Lecture: 3 Lab: 0 Clinic: 0 Credits: 3 This course is designed to allow the student to develop a business plan. Topics include the need for a business plan, sections of the plan, writing the plan, and how to find assistance in preparing the plan. Upon completion, students should be able to design and implement a business plan based on sound entrepreneurship principles.
Pre-requisite(s): BUS 139 Course is typically offered in Spring. Course has transfer restrictions - 10 years
Student Learning Outcomes (SLOs) At the completion of the course, the students should be able to do the following:
- Justify the choice of legal entity for a business.
- Simulate financial statements.
- Apply the Four Ps (product, place, promotion, and price) of marketing to a business plan.
- Assess the available financial resources for a business.
- Write a comprehensive business plan.
- Communicate their business plan.
