PAD 254 Grant Writing Lecture: 3 Lab: 0 Clinic: 0 Credits: 3 This course covers the basic techniques of successful grant writing. Topics include concept development, funding sources research, and writing skills relevant to the grants process. Upon completion, students should be able to demonstrate a basic understanding of the grants process.
Course is typically offered in Summer. Student Learning Outcomes (SLOs) Upon successful completion of the course, students should be able to do the following:
- Define the correct steps to writing a public safety grant.
- Analyze effective relationships with funding sources.
- Illustrate proper strategies to develop grant proposals.
- Design an effective grant summary proposal.
