OST 136 Word Processing Lecture: 2 Lab: 2 Clinic: 0 Credits: 3 This course is designed to introduce word processing concepts and applications. Topics include preparation of a variety of documents and mastery of specialized software functions. Upon completion, students should be prepared to take a nationally accredited certification exam.

Student Learning Outcomes (SLOs) At the completion of the course, the students should be able to do the following:
- Apply basic word processing concepts using MS Word.
- Use document formatting features in MS Word.
- Use document reference and collaboration features.
- Use MS Word mail merge feature.
