GRD 152 Computer Design Tech I Lecture: 1 Lab: 4 Clinic: 0 Credits: 3 This course covers complex design problems utilizing various design and drawing software applications. Topics include the expressive use of typography, image, and organization to communicate a message. Upon completion, students should be able to use appropriate computer software to professionally present their work.
Course is typically offered in Spring. Student Learning Outcomes (SLOs) At the completion of the course, the students should be able to do the following:
- Create composite images using type, selection, masking, and blending techniques.
- Apply basic design principles to produce visually effective image compositions.
- Demonstrate how to prepare raster images for various media delivery formats.
