The Cloud Computing - Data Specialist track prepares graduates for employment with organizations that use data technology tools to process, manage, analyze, and communicate information. Additionally, the curriculum provides the student with foundational knowledge to consider professional certifications through Amazon AWS, Microsoft, or Oracle Corporation.

Course work includes applying data technology tools to create, manipulate, analyze, and report on data objects. Students will have hands-on experience working with database concepts, machine learning techniques, and data science applications throughout the curriculum courses. Active critical thinking and problem-solving skills are emphasized throughout the curriculum.

Graduates will be prepared for a wide variety of cloud computing and data specialist professional positions in technology organizations, as well as other business industries throughout the world. In addition, graduates will have the knowledge and hands-on experience to apply cloud technologies to meet businesses IT demands for now and into the future. Cloud architect, data engineer, data analyst, and data scientist are just some of the titles a Cloud Computing - Data Specialist graduate could consider.
