Upon successful completion of the Electronic Medical Records Certificate, the graduate will be proficient in the skill of managing medical records, both manually and electronically. Students will experience the look and feel of using real world EHR Database software that prepares them to work with a practice management and electronic health record system. 

Program Outcomes:

Upon successful completion of the Electronic Medical Records certificate, the graduate should be able to:

• Manage medical records both electronically and manually
• Use medical terminology effectively
• Utilize various reference materials in a variety of situations
