Upon successful completion of the Medical Office Billing & Coding certificate, the graduate will be prepared to sit for the Certified Professional Coders Exam (CPC) administered through the American Association of Certified Professional Coders (AAPC).
To be admitted to the MOA-Medical Billing & Coding Certificate program, you must have completed an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a healthcare-related field which includes a minimum of 4 credit hours in Anatomy & Physiology or have a minimum of 5 years of recent experience in a healthcare-related field.

- Use medical terminology effectively
- Utilize various reference materials in a variety of situations
