The Fire Protection Technology Bridging program is designed to allow a currently certified, non-degreed firefighter to earn a two-year Associate of Applied Science degree in Fire Protection Technology in two semesters.
The prerequisites for admission to the FPT Bridging program include current credential/certification in the following:

*Note: Prospective students who do not have all of the required certifications for the bridging program can still receive advanced standing for existing credentials/certifications that can be applied to the two-year Associates degree program to reduce the number of hours required to earn the degree.
