AUT 113 Automotive Servicing I Lecture: 0 Lab: 6 Clinic: 0 Credits: 2 This course is a lab used as an alternative to co-op placement. Emphasis is placed on shop operations, troubleshooting, testing, adjusting, repairing, and replacing components using appropriate test equipment and service information. Upon completion, students should be able to perform a variety of automotive repairs using proper service procedures and to operate appropriate equipment.
Pre-requisite(s): TRN 110 . Course is typically offered in various semesters. Check with the department for your particular credentialing option. Student Learning Outcomes (SLOs) At the completion of the course, the students should be able to do the following:
- Write an estimate.
- Create a work order.
- Perform needed repairs.
- Create an individual work log for this class.
