AHR 250 HVAC System Diagnostics Lecture: 0 Lab: 4 Clinic: 0 Credits: 2 This course is a comprehensive study of air conditioning, heating, and refrigeration system diagnostics and corrective measures. Topics include advanced system analysis, measurement of operating efficiency, and inspection and correction of all major system components. Upon completion, students should be able to restore a residential or commercial AHR system so that it operates at or near manufacturers’ specifications.
Pre-requisite(s): Take AHR 114 or AHR-133 Co-requisite(s): Take AHR 112 Course is typically offered in Fall. Student Learning Outcomes (SLOs) At the completion of the course, students should be able to do the following:
- Troubleshoot air conditioning systems for proper operations.
- Troubleshoot heating systems for proper operations.
- Troubleshoot advanced comfort systems for proper operations.
