Collision Repair & Refinishing Technology Certificate


This certificate program provides introductory training for students interested in careers in the Collision Repair & Refinishing industry. Students completing the certificate program are qualified for employment as basic entry level collision repair apprentices, including disassembling/reassembling technicians, painter helper, detailing, and general shop assistants.

Program Outcomes:

Upon successful completion of the Collision Repair & Refinishing certificate, the graduate should be able to:

  • Perform structural analysis and damage repairs
  • Perform non-structural analysis and damage repairs
  • Refinish vehicles or vehicle components
  • Perform MIG welding as it applies to automotive structures

Fall Semester I


8 Weeks Session 1


AUB-111, AUB-121, and AUB-122 will be taught consecutively in the 16-week semester.

Total Credits: 16
