The Social and Human Services Technology department offers a Certificate in Addiction and Recovery Studies. 

Program Outcomes:

Upon successful completion of the Social and Human Services Technology - Addiction and Recovery Studies certificate, the graduate should be able to:

  • Demonstrate awareness of addictive processes as they relate to human behavior and development from a biological, psychological, sociological, and spiritual perspective.
  • Meet the education requirements needed to take the North Carolina Substance Abuse Professional Practice Board certificate exam.
