Diesel & Heavy Equipment Technology Engine Certificate

This certificate program is designed to introduce students into the Heavy Equipment & Technology industry. It prepares students to work as apprentices under the supervision of a qualified Diesel and Heavy Equipment technician.

Program Outcomes:

Upon successful completion of the Diesel and Heavy Equipment Technology Engine Certificate, the graduate shall be able to:

Repair medium to heavy-duty diesel electrical systems
Repair medium to heavy-duty vehicle brake systems
Repair medium to heavy-duty vehicle suspension and steering systems
Perform preventative maintenance inspections

*Please note this certificate MUST be taken before the Powertrain certificate.
