Collision Repair and Refinishing Technology - Calibration and Mechanical Certificate

This certificate program provides training for new students looking to enter the field and those returning from industry to add to their skillset; it covers topics in the use of scan tools, recalibration equipment, and mechanical repairs for these emerging jobs in the Collision Repair industry. Topics include steering and suspension, brakes, basic electrical and wiring repair procedures, climate control, and Advanced Driver Safety Features.  Students successfully completing the certificate program can qualify for employment as Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS), diagnostic, calibration and mechanical collision technicians.  After a vehicle is involved in a collision, the ADAS sensors and components must be properly installed and calibrated to return the vehicle to its original capability.
