Collision Repair & Refinishing Technology Certificate

This certificate program provides introductory training for students interested in careers in the Collision Repair & Refinishing industry. Students completing the certificate program are qualified for employment as entry level collision repair apprentices.

Program Outcomes:

Upon successful completion of the Collision Repair & Refinishing certificate, the graduate should be able to:

  • Perform structural analysis and damage repairs
  • Perform non-structural analysis and damage repairs
  • Refinish vehicles or vehicle components
  • Perform MIG welding as it applies to automotive structures

1 AUB 121 Non-Structural Damage I  is a co-requisite for AUB 111 Painting and Refinishing I  and pre-requisite for AUB 122 Non-Structural Damage II  and AUB 136 Plastics and Adhesives .
