AUB 122 Non-Structural Damage II Lecture: 2 Lab: 6 Clinic: 0 Credits: 4 This course covers safety, tools, and advanced body repair. Topics include shop safety, damage analysis, tools and equipment, advanced repair techniques, materials selection, materials usage, movable glass, and other related topics. Upon completion, students should be able to identify and repair or replace direct and indirect damage to accepted standards including movable glass and hardware.
Pre-requisite(s): AUB 121 and TRN 110 . Course is typically offered in Spring. Student Learning Outcomes (SLOs) At the completion of the course, the students should be able to do the following:
- Disassemble vehicle sections.
- Reassemble vehicle sections.
- Identify wind noise & water leak repair and diagnosis techniques.
- Demonstrate glass removal procedures.
- Demonstrate glass installation procedures.
- Demonstrate the proper use of tools, equipment, and materials related to non-structural repairs.
