GRA 152 Computer Graphics II Lecture: 1 Lab: 3 Clinic: 0 Credits: 2 This course covers advanced design and layout concepts utilizing illustration, page layout, and imaging software in graphic arts. Emphasis is placed on enhancing and developing the skills that were introduced in GRA 151. Upon completion, students should be able to select and utilize appropriate software for design and layout solutions.
Pre-requisite(s): C or better in GRA 151. Co-requisite(s): GRA 162 . Course is typically offered in Spring. Student Learning Outcomes (SLOs) At the completion of the course, the students should be able to do the following:
- Perform tasks using the Mac/Windows operating system.
- Utilize electronic imaging data and input options to create images.
- Combine multiple images.
- Distinguish between various image file formats.
- Create color corrected and/or digitally retouched photographs
- Produce portfolio quality projects using electronic imaging application within assignment parameters.
